New Cannabis Training Certificate at Middlesex Community College
The cannabis industry is a growing field with retail positions being in high demand for both the medical and adult use markets. This course was created with job acquisition in mind. MCC’s Cannabis Retail Certificate (noncredit) addresses the real world demands and core knowledge that retail positions require. Students will develop fundamental skills with an understand of what is required to work in a customer facing position in the Massachusetts cannabis industry.
Training will include the state certified Core Curriculum training & exam which is a Cannabis Control Commission requirement for those working in the industry. Taught be a state certified Responsible Vendor Trainer. The final course exam is the state required Core Curriculum exam that is required by the Cannabis Control Commission.
Core Curriculum certificates are valid for one year. Please note class weeks 1-5 are 2 hours in length, 6p – 8p. Week 6 class date is 5 hours in length, 4p – 9p and students will be taking the state Certified Core Curriculum. Pre-req: Must be 21+ to attend and eligible to work in the United States. $500.
